Think about your work in our class so far. How did Project 1 go? What was easy, difficult, boring or fun? Describe any previous learning experiences (both in and out of school) that were helpful in Project 1 OR are made it more difficult. For example, some 1020 students have observed that their experiences with literary analysis in high school English classes have helped them with genre analysis, while others have complained the opposite. Think about your own experiences: what is your response? Write about how your prior writing knowledge from another discourse community (maybe even the one you just studied) might be helpful or a hindrance in ENG 1020.
